The Problem: Many know the frustration of putting in thousands of training yards only to find swim times stuck on a plateau. An adjustment to create a more efficient stroke may help you reach the PR for which you strive. An outside perspective has the advantage of seeing what the swimmer may not be able to feel happening during the stoke cycle. The Solution: Stroke analysis in the Endless Pool enables the coach to see needed adjustments to the swimmer’s stroke and body position to help them reach their goals. The Endless Pool current is adjustable to any ability and level of fitness from the beginner to the avid competitor, so anyone can gain from its use as a tool in stroke analysis. At the TriSports.com Retail Store, with the help of our Dartfish technician, you may video tape your swim stroke and take a dvd of your swim to your personal swim coach for their analysis and feedback. Please contact us for rates and scheduling. |

learning. Also known as a swimming treadmill, you swim in place against a changeable current that allows for longer swims (ideal for open-water training) and gives your instructor the ability to adjust the pace. And Endless Pools utilize underwater mirrors placed directly under you, so you can easily see your stroke mechanics as you swim. Using the Dartfish© computer analysis system, your instructor will record your stroke with underwater and above-water cameras. Once recorded, you and your instructor can utilize many of the analysis options to help you fully understand how your stroke can be improved. Some of these options include drawing tools, measurement tools, overlay with video from top-level swimmers, digital zoom, and Dartfish's StroMotion and Simulcam for split-screen comparisons. Slow-motion and frame-by-frame techniques can also be employed since the video is recorded digitally. You can schedule with a certified Dolphins of the Desert instructor who will provide you with the highest quality of instruction found in Arizona.
